At ExperiEd, we create educational and immersive experiences that support educators through the use of virtual reality. Our software has been created to support the various Key Stage learning milestones as well as other educational standards, allowing students to be truly immersed within their subjects.

Learning is literally brought to life as the students see, hear and experience their subjects, topics and issues in such the most realistic way, it feels as though they are living and breathing a real environment.

The education provider can choose if students can access materials out of class as well, for flip learning and further exploration.
We offer education providers the ability to choose how students can access the ExperiEd VR education materials. Whether you choose to allow access only in lesson time, or you allow students to access the materials not only in lessons but also allow full access to the approved materials at home, ExperiEd VR education materials will help educators inspire and connect learners with the subjects.

Influential philosopher, psychologist, and educational reformer John Dewey remarked in 1916: “Why is it that, in spite of the fact that teaching by pouring in, learning by passive absorption, are universally condemned, that they are still so entrenched in practice?”
Dewey’s remarks are still relevant today and at Experied, we agree that ‘learning by doing’ is the best approach for students. However we understand that it is incredibly difficult for teachers to implement this without the right tools – how is it possible to galvanise interest in all aspects of science, history or literature for a generation leaning more and more towards visual representation? Virtual reality is the next step.
This is why we created the ExperiEd software. Our Virtual Reality tools transform education to a new realm of interactive learning. We provide the tools and support that teachers need to enable students to learn by doing, creating stronger links and greater interest in their learning through virtual reality.
With the ExperiEd VR education software, teachers can transport students deep into the Amazonian rainforest, to 30,000 ft at Everest’s summit, to the depths of the Mariana trench at the bottom of the ocean. Or maybe back in time to the middle of a medieval battle, meeting Julius Caesar at the height of the Roman Empire or witnessing Shakespeare playing the Ghost in his own Hamlet at the Globe? ExperiEd VR education makes every experience possible for every student, regardless of their age, background or ability.

Subjects
We offer many VR education experiences across a wide variety of subjects. We can also tailor these options or create bespoke experiences as required. You can explore some examples of our software below and once you have joined ExperiEd you will have access to the full library (see ‘Pricing’ below).
Science
Travelling through space or walking on the moon is something that is reserved for very few people, but what better way to inspire students to learn more about the sciences than launching them into space and experiencing it for themselves? ExperiEdVR education software brings learning to life and makes things like space travel a reality, without the many years and high cost of astronaut training! We also offer experiences across chemistry and biology.
History
Imagine the opportunity to walk through a Tudor village or experience intense medieval combat or gladiatorial life OR having the chance to speak with and listen to some of history’s most influential, inspiring and infamous people right where they lived, in their time? How about the opportunity to walk the trenches and live amongst the soldiers of World War 1, or living through the Blitz in a London shelter? ExperiEd VR education immerses students in their learning so much so that it becomes their reality.
English
What would it be like to see Shakespeare work through the madness of creating his works that would one day be famous, or to sit and listen as he performs it for the first time? Students can also hear, see and immerse themselves in the courtroom of To Kill A Mockingbird or live a day in the life of Christopher Boone during The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime, experiencing his unique outlook as a reality. Experied brings literature to life by literally immersing students within the stories.
Geography
Transport students deep into the Amazonian rainforest, or to 30,000 ft at Everest’s summit. Swim to the depths of the Mariana trench at the bottom of the ocean or witness a volcanic eruption exploring the magma, lava, ash, steam and gas. ExperiEd software makes all experiences achievable and amazing for every single student, regardless of their age, experience or background.
How we do it
Our experiences use Virtual Reality video footage and sensory sound technology to create experiences that are so realistic, users feel they are living and breathing a real life environment. There are different packages available depending on your needs and budget.
Content only: This option provides our clients with the cheapest option, of picking the content they want without the requirement for hardware.
Basic package: This package comprises of: VR education material (as outlined below) and thirty basic headsets (more can be purchased as required at a small additional cost).
The basic headsets allows students and/or teachers to access the VR education materials. Sound will be played from the phone either via the speaker or their personal headphones. Phones are slotted into the headsets and these headsets are reusable.
Advanced package: This package comprises of: VR education material (as outlined below) and thirty advanced Experied VR headsets (more can be purchased as required at an additional cost).
These headsets feature a built in, wrap-around, high definition screen as well as sensory surround-sound audio. These headsets provide the ultimate Virtual Reality experience and will deliver the most realistic and immersive experience possible for users. They also allow educators full control of what content is being used and how the content is being used, without a student getting a text mid lesson. These headsets can be purchased or rented, depending on your needs and budget.
Pricing:
Pricing is from just £550 and includes everything you need to get started and enjoy the wonders of ExperiEd. We have lots of different package levels and create bespoke packages for clients. Below are some examples of product offerings.
Product 1: singular lesson module in any subject, including:
- One VR video that is three to five minutes long (dependent on age).
- Suggested Q&A & lesson plan to support VR video content, which can be tailored by teachers.
Product 2: three lesson modules in any subject, including:
- Three VR videos that are three to five minutes long (dependent on age).
- VR videos can be tailored so that they are viewed together (i.e. within one lesson) or independently (i.e. staggered throughout the term).
- Suggested Q&A & lesson plan to support VR video content, which can be tailored by teachers.
Product 3: five lesson modules in any subject, including
- Five VR videos that are three to five minutes long (dependent on age).
- VR videos can be tailored so that they are viewed together (i.e. within one lesson) or independently (i.e. staggered throughout the term).
- Suggested Q&A & lesson plan to support VR video content, which can be tailored by teachers.
Product 4: Unlimited Access
- Client given access to all of the ExperiEd content and selects the content they would like in their portal. Our team are also on hand to help with this if required. All the content is then organised however the client requires it and made available.
- Multiple subjects and module types and lengths.
- VR videos in all singular and series module and can also be tailored so that they are viewed together (i.e. within one lesson) or independently (i.e. staggered throughout the term).
- Suggested Q&A & lesson plan to support VR video content, which can be tailored by teachers.
Product 5: Career aspirations and subject selection
- Give students a real understanding of different careers through a variety of virtual reality experiences.
- One-off package that can be tailored for different audiences and adjusted for many different experiences.
- Suggested Q&A to support VR content and assist in careers guidance and subject selection at GCSE, A-Level and University.
Product 6: Enhanced Learning & Promotional Activity
- Demonstrate your school’s technical and digital capabilities, as well as innovation and creativity, through immersive and educational VR experiences, pre-packaged for use at open days and other promotional events.
- Bring your school and lessons to life in order to entice potential students and parents.
- One-off package that can be tailored for different audiences and adjusted for many different experiences.
- Suggested Q&A to support VR content for both large audiences and smaller groups, depending on the event.
